Geelhoed Transport respects the privacy of all users of its website and ensures that the personal information you provide is treated confidentially. Geelhoed Transport acts in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act and from 25 May 2018 the General Data Protection Regulation.

2. What personal data does Geelhoed Transport collect and process?

Use of our services On the website of Geelhoed Transport you can view which services Geelhoed Transport offers and take out a suitable service. When you register for one of our services, we ask you to provide the following (personal) data.

When you send e-mails or other messages to us, for example via the contact forms on our website, we save those messages. Sometimes we ask you for your personal information that is relevant to the situation in question. This makes it possible to process your questions and answer your requests. The data is stored on secure servers of Geelhoed Transport or those of a third party.

Automatically generated data

In order for the website to work optimally, automatically generated information about your visit to the website is collected and processed. To measure the business use of our website, we use the Leadinfo service from Rotterdam. This service shows us company names and addresses based on the IP addresses of our visitors. The IP address is not included here.

Work, address and production files that arise from assignments are stored on internal servers unless you expressly indicate that you want the work and/or production files removed. Examples of work, address and production files are shipping receipts and other products as a result of purchasing a service. These work and production files may include;

  • Name and address details;
  • Company Name;
  • Phone number;
  • E-mail address;
  • Financial details.

3. For what purposes and on what legal grounds is the collected information used?

The use is necessary for the execution of an agreement to which you are a party:

There is no fixed retention period for work, address and production files, unless it is explicitly stated that the files concerned must be deleted.

If Geelhoed Transport rejects your request, it will indicate in its answer why the request to adjust the data is rejected.
